Imma Shalom

(fl. 1st-2nd cent)
   Palestinian woman, wife of Eliezer ben Hyrcanus and sister of Rabban Gamaliel II. She was praised for her learning and religious devotion. She is one of the few women mentioned in talmudic literature.
